Simplicity and continuity are apparent in this design concept. There isn't a whole lot of color, but the different shades of gray and black add suspense and make you wonder what is going to happen next. A large message is delivered with the simple design of having the large shadow of Superman wearing the cape behind the familiar Smallville Clark Kent look. The Superman logo also helps Smallville fans get excited, and maybe it also helps those who didn't watch the show or care know exactly what this is about. "Destiny is now" is written small inside the shadow, showing exactly what the show is going to be about during the final season.Bad Design:
I've never watched this show, so for people who do watch this show maybe this design concept is effective for them. But to have the four separate boxes with mug shots of each actor seems a little amateur to me. Not only that, three of the actors are looking at the camera and one is not. Again, for people who have seen the show maybe that's effective for them just as the Smallville poster was effective for me.
